Disabled Persons Toilet Locking System
Disabled Persons Toilet Locking System (DPTS) for Automatic Door Operators and designed for DDA compliance. It can be easily integrated into a toilet with an existing Automatic Door Opener or you can purchase our SESAMO PROSWING DPTS operator package here.
Simple to install and designed for minimal disturbance to your business.
The system can be configured in many ways, below are the 3 basic formats.
1) 2 sensor operation: Door unlocked, enter manually or operate sensor for assisted entry, touch internal sensor to Lock the door, touch again to Unlock door with Assisted exit.
2) 3 sensor operation: Door unlocked, enter manually or operate sensor for assisted entry, touch internal sensor to Lock the door, touch again to Unlock door, exit manually or operate internal Door assist sensor to gain Assisted exit. (as used in train systems)
3) Proximity Access: Door locked, a proximity Token / Card is required to gain Manual or Assisted entry, touch internal sensor to Lock the door, touch again to Unlock door, exit manually or with Assisted exit.
The door must be fully shut before it can be locked to stop pranksters. (when using a "door sense " Mag-Lock or monitored Strike)
An emergency exit break glass should be incorporated, ideally with an "Operated sounder" to ensure privacy when the device has been operated.
The Controller PCB, simple reliable and adaptable. 12 – 24v DC.
Locked / Engaged - Open / Vacant LED outputs (Solid or Flashing)
Red = Engaged / Locked. Blue = Vacant / Open.
Timed C, No, Nc “Activation” Relay output.
Supports 2 Button or 3 Button operation,
2 Button: Assisted Door Button or manual entry,
Touch to Lock, Touch again to unlock and give Assisted Door exit.
3 Button: Assisted Door Button or manual entry,
Touch to Lock, Touch again to unlock,
Manual exit or Touch Door Assist Button to give Assisted Door exit.
